Every other theme in this library asks something of you. Your flow asks nothing. It is a plain journal with no method in it: write your day as it is, what you are facing, what is sitting in your mind tonight. There is no prompt to follow, no shape to reach for, and nothing here to write toward — which is why the theme picker disappears when you choose it on the writing page. It is not writing toward anything.
That does not make it idle. Your flow is the raw material the tool reads. The optimistic themes are chosen for you out of what you write here: your difficulties, your worries, the general view of life that shows up when nobody is asking you to be constructive. Write a few entries about what you are actually facing and there is enough to read; write nothing here and the suggestions have nothing to work from. It is the only place in the app that serves that purpose.
Nothing you write here is analysed the way an optimistic or expressive entry is — no score, no report on the writing itself. The one thing it is read for besides suggestions is safety: if something you wrote suggests you may be in danger, you are shown where to find help. That check keeps nothing and changes nothing else. And if you seal an entry with your passphrase, it is genuinely unreadable, to us and to the suggestions engine alike — sealed flow writing produces no suggestions, which is your privacy level doing exactly what you chose it for.
So write it badly. Half-sentences, the argument you are still having in your head, the thing you would not say out loud yet. This is the one page in the method where there is nothing to do well.
